Apply for Mazaya Request

• To be a Bahraini.
• To be the head of the family.
• The age at the time of submitting the application and disbursement of the financing from the financing bank shall not be less than (21) years and not more than (35) years for the Mazaya Programme & not more than (40) years for the Mazaya (New Category) Programme.
• The applicant’s income, at the time of application and until disbursement of the financing from the financing bank, shall not be less than (600) Bahraini Dinars to benefit from the Mazaya Programme, and shall not exceed (1200) Bahraini Dinars in both cases.
• The applicant or any of their family members must not have previously received any housing service for the purpose of owning a property provided by the government or any other entity.
• Mazaya for buying an existing home, the value of which does not exceed 120 thousand Bahraini dinars, and financing up to 81 thousand Bahraini dinars. As for the New Category of Mazaya is for purchasing a dwelling or land, building a house, purchasing a land and build it, and there is no maximum price for the house or land to be purchased and financing up to 63 thousand Bahraini dinars.
• The applicant’s family must be a permanent resident of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
• The applicant shall not be the owner of a property; they or any member of their family for a period of (3) years prior to the submission of the application and until allocation, and shall be considered an owner, if they have benefited from a dwelling through one of the forms of Islamic financing financing or under commercial financing.

For the First Category

• Copy of the wife's valid residency.

For the Second Category – Married to a Foreign Husband

• Copy of the valid residence permit for the husband.

For the Second Category – Divorced

• Copy of the Continuity of Child Custody with its date of issuance does not exceed one year.

In case of Working in the Government or Private Sector

• An updated Original Salary Certificate or Salary Slip Stamped in the same month of application.

In case of Self-Employment

• A recent income statement issued by the Notary Office in the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs.

Type of Income -In case of Self-Employment :

• An original Retirement Certificate detailed with bonuses, stamped by the competent authority provided its issuance has not exceeded one month

In case of Unemployment/Downtime

• A Statement of Non-Insurance from the Social Insurance Organization (SIO) provided its issuance has not exceeded one month
