Leadership Employment Program

For promotions track:

  • The minimum wage for the employee should be BHD 1500
  • The employee must be employed at the enterprise for at least 12 months  
  • The employee must have at least 4 years of work experience
  • The employee’s wage increment should be between 5%–20%

For enterprises

  • Enterprise must have an active CR/license

For mid-level jobs:  

  • Minimum wage for mid-level jobs is BHD 800
  • The employee must have at least 4 years of work experience

For executive jobs:

  • The employee must have at least 6 years of work experience
  • Minimum wage for executive jobs is BHD 2,000



Resident Doctor Program (Board)

For Enterprises

  • Enterprise must have an active CR/license



Enterprise Training Support Program

For enterprises:

  • Enterprise must have an active CR/license



AI Training Program

AI Generalist:

  • Employee must be a Bahraini national   
  • 18 years or above   

AI Specialist:

  • Employee must be a Bahraini national   
  • 18 years or above   



Global Ready Talent Program

For individuals:

  • Must be a Bahraini national aged 18 years and above
  • Must not be an outsourced employee
  • Must not be the enterprise owner

For local enterprises:

  • Enterprise must have an active CR/license
  • Government entities such as Ministries, Authorities, and Councils are ineligible for the program
  • Enterprise bust be classified as a large enterprise



Wage Increment Program “New Employees”

For enterprises:

  • Enterprise must have an active CR/license



National Employment Program

For enterprises:

  • Enterprise must have an active CR/license

For employees:

  • Employee must be a Bahraini national
  • Employee’s wage must not be lower than: BHD 350 for high school graduates BHD 430 for diploma holders BHD 500 for bachelor’s degree holders and above (does not apply to the doctors track)
  • Employee joined the enterprise less than 6 months ago (does not apply to the actuaries track)
  • Employee must be a fresh graduate with 24 months of experience or less, or a jobseeker nominated by the Ministry of Labour, or a jobseeker employed through the Ministry’s Jobs+ Program

For the actuaries track:

  • Employee must have an academic background in the field, such as: Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.
  • Employee must be employed by an enterprise in the financial sector as an actuary

For the doctors track:

  • Employee must be a licensed doctor or dentist employed in a private hospital or clinic

For the engineers track:

  • Employee must be registered with and nominated by the Ministry of Labour as a jobseeker
  • Employee’s wage must be a minimum of BHD 500
  • Employee must be a trainee engineer as per The Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions (CRPEP)
  • Employee must be employed as an engineer with a job title that reflects that
  • Employee must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering



Apprenticeship Program

For Enterprises:

  • Enterprise must have an active CR/license
  • Enterprise must not have violations from Tamkeen or LMRA



Wage Increment Program

For enterprises:

  • Enterprise must have an active CR/license



Overseas Expansion Program

  • Enterprise committed to retaining the head office in Bahrain post-expansion
  • Enterprise must retain a minimum of 30% Bahraini ownership in the new KSA entity
  • Enterprise must be in one or more of the key sectors: Creative Industries, Education, Financial Services, Food & Beverage, Healthcare, Information Communication Technology (ICT), Oil & Gas, Manufacturing & Logistics, Tourism
  • Enterprise must be fully ready to scale to KSA as soon as you are accepted into the program, with secured funding to sustain your operations in the KSA market, and the needed documentation ready.   • Enterprise is prepared with a realistic and validated path to revenue generation in the KSA market, and must be able to demonstrate your readiness to expand in to KSA’s market through documentation for e.g. market research or feasibility studies
  • Enterprise must not have violations from Tamkeen or LMRA
  • Enterprise must not have the activity of a Holding Company as the only activity
  • Enterprise must be prepared to share audited financial data for a minimum of one (1) year, no older than two (2) years and adhere to the data sharing and monitoring requirements of the program
  • Bahrain-based enterprises with an active CR/license



Riyadat Program

  • Audited financials for companies over 3 years (if applicable) 
  • Growth Plan (applicable for existing enterprises) 
  • Owner, partner, members of the BoD of the Enterprise shall have an acceptable financial record at the time of submission of the application. 
  • Business is owned and fully managed by a Bahraini woman and based in Bahrain (total contribution of Bahraini women in the company must be 51% or above) 
  • Enterprise must have an active CR/license 



Riyadat Program

  • Audited financials for companies over 3 years (if applicable)

Global Ready Entrepreneur Program

  • The entrepreneur must be a Bahraini national aged 18 years and above
  • The entrepreneur’s company must be operating in Bahrain and must have an active CR/license 
  • The entrepreneur’s company must be classified as either a micro, small or medium enterprise
  • The entrepreneur’s company must operate within current emerging sectors



Riyada Business Accelerator Program

  • Bahrain-based startups with an active CR or license and operating for less than 3 years. OR Startups without CR or license can apply if they have a prototype and at least one Bahraini founder
  • The startup must have a unique tech-based idea with high potential for scalability locally, regionally and internationally



Mashroo3i Program

  • Bahraini nationals aged 18 and above
  • First-time entrepreneur with no active CR or an entrepreneur with a virtual CR or a CR registered for less than one year.
  • Commit to the 13-week mentorship & advisory program duration



Business Franchising Program

  • Bahrain-based enterprises with an active CR/license  
  • The enterprise has its head office located in Bahrain 
  • Enterprise must not have violations from Tamkeen or LMRA   
  • The enterprise has a franchisable concept
  • Existing enterprises that have already franchised or have franchising documentation ready and are looking to expand into new markets (Track 2 only)
  • Enterprise must not have the activity of a Holding Company as the only activity 



Medical Fellowship Program

  • Bahraini national employed in the public or private healthcare sector
  • Qualified as a medical doctor
  • Attained Board certification as a Resident/Specialist
  • Licensed by the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA)
  • Employee joined the enterprise 12 months ago or less



Professional Certification Program

  • Bahraini national aged 18 years and above



Jobseeker Training Program

  • Bahraini national aged 18 years and above
  • Meets the requirements of the awarding body and training program



Train and Place Program

  • Bahraini national aged 18 years and above
  • Applicant must be a Jobseeker



On-the-Job Training Program

  • Bahraini national aged 18 years and above



Start Your Business Program

  • Bahrain-based enterprises with an active CR/license
  • Enterprise has been operating for less than 3 years since CR registration
  • Enterprise must not have violations from Tamkeen or LMRA



Business Growth Program

  • Bahrain-based enterprises with an active CR/license
  • Enterprise has been operating for more than 3 years since CR registration
  • Enterprise must not have violations from Tamkeen or LMRA



Financing Support Program

  • Enterprise must have an active CR/license    
  • Enterprise must have audited financials (if operating for more than 3 years)
