Electricity and Water Move-in Request

Submit a request to register the electricity, water and municipalities services for the new customer.

Moving to a new address/reconnecting the service (to the tenant)

  • Payment of the outstanding balance on the tenant if any



Moving to a new address/reconnecting the service (to the owner)

  • Payment of the outstanding balance on the new owner if any
  • Payment of the outstanding balance on the property if any


Moving to a new address/reconnecting the service (to the owner)

  • Electricity, Water, Municipal Rates Agreement form (Applies only for applying requests physically via Customer Service Centers and via the Virtual Center)
  • ID Card reader printout, or a two-sided copy of , or a copy of the commercial registration certificate (for Bahraini and Residents) or a passport (For Non-Residents)
  • Copy from the title deed or sale agreement
  • Photo of the Electricity meter and Water meter
  • Official IBAN Certificate



Moving to a new address/reconnecting the service (to the tenant)

  • Electricity, Water, Municipal Rates Agreement form (Applies only for applying requests physically via Customer Service Centers and via the Virtual Center)
  • ID Card reader printout, or a two-sided copy, or a copy of commercial registration certificate (for Bahrainis and Residents) or a passport copy (For non-Residents)
  • Lease Agreement
  • Lease agreement registration receipt
  • Official IBAN Certificate
  • Copy of the premise owner ID



Changing the name of the property’s registered inhabitant from the deceased owner to one of the heirs

  • Copy of the Religious Ordinance Document attached to an authorization letter signed by all the heirs and copies of the heirs’ ID cards, or a notarized power of attorney on behalf of the heirs attached to an ID copy of the notarized person entrusted by the heirs
  • Picture of the electricity meter
  • Picture of the water meter
  • IBAN Number
  • Electricity, water, municipal rates Agreement in case of booking an appointment through the Skiplino app
  • Copy of the ID Card reader printout, or a two- sided copy of the ID Card
  • Settlement of any arrears owed by the heir or on the property, if any
