Electronic Industrial Properties Services

The service involves converting the international registration of a collective mark, control mark, inspection mark, or mark of public benefit bodies into a national registration in the Kingdom of Bahrain upon the request of the mark owner. This process should occur within three months of the cancellation of the international registration in whole or in part in the country of origin.

Patent grant and publication service

Who has the right to apply:

  • The owner of the patent (a citizen or resident in the Kingdom of Bahrain)
  • The legal agent appointed by the patent owner and registered in the Agents Register


Publishing the Transfer, mortgage, seizing, or licensing exploit of the ownership of patent

Who has the right to apply:

  • owner of the industrial design or model (national or resident in the Kingdom of Bahrain).
  • The legal agent appointed by the owner of the industrial design or model and registered in the agent registry.
