Self-sponsorship Residence Permit and Re-entry Visa (Retired Foreigner)

  • The application must be submitted by a guarantor or an authorized person.
  • Each application must be submitted separately, along with all relevant documents.


Golden Residency for Talented Individuals

  • A clear copy of the applicant's passport valid for more than 6 months
  • A clear copy of a talent certificate (academic, athletic, entrepreneurial, artists, authors, etc)
  • A clear copy of a valid medical insurance certificate issued in the Kingdom of Bahrain
  • A clear copy of the applicant's 6 month bank statement
  • A clear copy of the previous residence permit (if applicable)
  • The administration has the right to request any additional necessary documents and information at any time


Golden Residency for Foreign Residents in Bahrain (Employees/Retirees)

  • Clear copy of the applicant's passport valid for more than 6 months
  • A clear copy of the applicant’s salary certificate (minimum 2000 BHD)
  • A clear copy of the applicant's 6 month bank statement
  • A clear copy of a valid medical insurance certificate issued in the Kingdom of Bahrain
  • A clear copy of the previous residence permit (if applicable)
  • The administration has the right to request any additional necessary documents and information at any time


Golden Residency for Retired Non-Resident Foreigners

  • A clear copy of pension certificate (minimum 4000 BHD)
  • A clear copy of the previous residence permit (if applicable)
  • A clear copy of the applicant's 6 month bank statement
  • A clear copy of the applicant's passport valid for more than 6 months
  • A clear copy of a valid medical insurance certificate issued in the Kingdom of Bahrain
  • The administration has the right to request any additional necessary documents and information at any time


Self-sponsorship Residence Permit and Re-entry Visa (Retired Foreigner)

  • A clear copy of the applicant’s passport, with a validity of more than six months.
  • A clear copy of the applicant's ID Card
  • A good conduct certificate
  • A clear copy of the rental lease contract and the electricity bill
  • A clear copy of the retirement certificate from the government or private sector, or from a GCC country, confirming a service period of no less than 15 years.
  • A valid medical insurance certificate issued in the Kingdom of Bahrain
  • Evidence of a stable income of 500 BHD or more
  • A copy of a previous residence permit
  • A statement from the Social Insurance Organization proving years of service
  • A Bank statement covering the last three months
  • The administration has the right to request any additional necessary documents and information at any time
