Apply for “Tas’heel” Financing Request

Apply for a reconstruction financing request, Tas’heel – Aqari, Tas’heel – Al Bait Al Oud or Tas’heel – Ta’awon.

Submit a financing request

  • Applicant must be a Bahraini national
  • Applicant must be head of the family
  • At the time of submission, the applicant must not be less than 21 years old and not more than 50 years old
  • The applicant’s monthly income upon submission of application and allotment should not be less than 320 BD or more than 1200 BD
  • Neither the applicant nor a family member should have previously received any housing service for the purpose of owning a residential unit provided by the government or any other party
  • In the event of financing for the construction of a house, the applicant must prove that they (or a family member) own suitable vacant residential land free of any legal dispute
  • Subject to clause (6) above, the applicant must not have been the owner of a property that they (or a family member) owned at the time of application (including for three years prior to that) and until allotment. Applicant is considered a property owner if they have benefited from a residential unit through a form of Islamic finance
  • Applicant’s family must be permanent residents of Bahrain

The following real estates are excluded from the previous criteria.

  • Cases in which the purpose of obtaining financing is to pay off debt resulting from the purchase or construction of property owned by the applicant with commercial banks
  • Wife’s ownership of property, which was acquired by inheritance
  • Ownership of a property of less than 100 square meters, provided that it is not suitable for housing or building a home


Submit a financing request

In case of working in private or government sector:

  • Recent, original and detailed salary slip or salary certificate stamped in the same month of application submission
  • A statement of non-benefit from companies that provide housing services

2nd category (married to expects) :

  • Copy of the spouse’s passport
  • Copy of residence permit
  • Recent and detailed salary slip

2nd category (widow and widower) :

  • Copy of the passports of the applicant and children
  • Copy of Religious Ordinance Document
  • Copy of death certificate
  • Bank account statement (including IBAN)

In case of working in military sector:

  • Recent, original and detailed salary slip or salary certificate stamped in the same month of application submission
  • Proof of military identity

2nd category (divorced):

  • Copy of the passports of the applicant and children included in child custody
  • Copy of continuity of custody (date of issue must not exceed one year)
  • Copy of divorce certificate
  • Bank account statement (including IBAN)

In case of freelance work:

  • Copy of commercial registration
  • Customer authorization form to verify customer’s account
  • An original and recent salary slip for the current or previous month in the Commercial Register from the Authentication Department
  • Statement of account covering a period of one year, including IBAN

In case of retirement:

  • An original and detailed retirement certificate with the premiums stamped by the competent authority (date of issue must not exceed one month)

Renovation finance:

  • A full copy of the ownership document of the property to be restored, including the name of the owner
  • A message explaining the repair or maintenance work

Purchase finance :

  • A full copy of the ownership document of the property to be purchased, including the name of the seller or his representative, or a copy of the register of the company that owns the property
  • Any official document showing the address
  • A copy of the seller’s ID card or a copy of his valid passport

3rd category:

  • Copy of the passports of the applicant and the father/ mother included in the housing application
  • Copy of the parents’ marriage certificate
  • Copy of the parents’ divorce certificate (in case of divorce)
  • Copy of a parent’s death certificate (in case of the death of a parent)
  • Copy of a parent’s Religious Ordinance Document (in case of the death of a parent)

Construction finance:

  • A full copy of the title deed including the owner’s name
  • For apartments, a copy of the engineering maps includes the area of the apartment
  • For apartments, final approval for the sale of classes and apartments is issued by the competent municipality
  • For the housing bank apartments, a statement from the housing bank for the ownership apartment

1st category:

  • Copy of the passports of the husband and wife
  • Copy of marriage certificate
